These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Plus One website, forms, invitations, events, and related services.

Plus One is an invite-only social event brand operated by Global Creations (“Global Creations,” “Plus One,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using our website, submitting a request, recommending someone, purchasing or reserving a ticket, or attending a Plus One event, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are intended to be clear and practical. They do not replace any rights you may have under applicable Japanese law.

1. About Plus One

Plus One is an invite-only social gathering concept for singles and socially open guests in Tokyo and other locations in Japan.

Our events are designed to create a warm, respectful, and natural environment where people can meet through trusted introductions, referrals, and curated attendance.

Plus One is not a dating app, marriage agency, matchmaking agency, background-check service, or guarantee of romantic outcomes.

We may offer different event formats from time to time, including events for singles, events where friends may accompany guests, and other social formats.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 20 years old to attend Plus One events.

Because alcohol may be served, we or the venue may request valid identification to confirm your age. This check is primarily for age confirmation and alcohol service compliance. It does not mean we have verified each participant’s identity, background, relationship status, intentions, or personal information.

For now, self-signup may be limited to women for certain events. Men may be invited through recommendation, referral, or direct invitation. We may update eligibility rules depending on the event format, venue, guest mix, safety considerations, or operational needs.

Some events may allow non-dating companions, such as friends attending to support another guest. Event-specific eligibility rules will be provided where applicable.

3. Relationship status and personal circumstances

Plus One is intended for people who are single, socially available, or otherwise genuinely open to meeting others in a dating or social context.

However, Plus One does not independently verify each participant’s relationship status, marital status, private circumstances, intentions, or personal commitments.

You are responsible for your own conduct, representations, and personal relationships. Plus One is not responsible for private relationship matters, misrepresentations, cheating, disputes, or decisions made by participants before, during, or after an event.

4. Invite-only nature

Submitting a form, joining a waitlist, being recommended, or receiving an invitation does not guarantee entry to any Plus One event.

We may approve, decline, waitlist, cancel, or remove any request or invitation at our discretion.

We may consider factors such as event capacity, guest balance, safety, prior conduct, social context, event format, and overall event fit.

We are not required to explain individual approval, waitlist, or rejection decisions.

5. Accuracy of information

You agree to provide accurate and current information when submitting a request, joining an event, communicating with us, or recommending someone.

You must not:

• impersonate another person

• submit false or misleading information

• use another person’s contact details without a reasonable basis

• submit information in a malicious, harassing, or inappropriate way

• attempt to bypass Plus One’s invitation or screening process

If we believe information is inaccurate, misleading, or inconsistent with the purpose of Plus One, we may decline or cancel your request, invitation, or participation.

6. Recommendations and referrals

Plus One allows participants and applicants to recommend people they believe may be a good fit for an event.

If you recommend someone, you must do so respectfully and in good faith. You represent that you have a reasonable basis to believe the person would be open to being contacted about Plus One.

A recommendation does not guarantee that the person will be invited, accepted, or approved for any event.

We may contact recommended people to confirm their interest and suitability for an event. We may tell them that they were recommended or referred to Plus One, but we will avoid sharing unnecessary details unless appropriate.

You must not use the recommendation process to harass, embarrass, mislead, or expose another person.
7. Event conduct

All participants are expected to behave respectfully, responsibly, and with consideration for others.

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, intimidate, discriminate against, or pressure others

• engage in unwanted physical contact or inappropriate sexual behavior

• repeatedly contact someone after they have shown disinterest

• share another participant’s personal information without permission

• take or post photos or videos of others without appropriate consent

• attend while excessively intoxicated or disruptive

• bring illegal substances or engage in illegal activity

• violate venue rules or applicable laws

• interfere with the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of other guests

We may refuse entry, remove participants, cancel invitations, or decline future attendance if we believe conduct is inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with the purpose of Plus One.
8. Anti-solicitation and non-dating purposes

Plus One events are intended for genuine social and dating-related interaction.

Participants may not attend for unrelated commercial, recruiting, promotional, or solicitation purposes, including:

• sales or business solicitation

• multi-level marketing or network business

• investment solicitation

• religious or political solicitation

• host, hostess, escort, or adult-service scouting

• paid dating arrangements

• data collection or lead generation

• influencer, media, or promotional activity without permission

• any other activity we believe is inconsistent with the purpose of the event

If we believe a participant is attending for an inappropriate purpose, we may refuse entry, remove the participant, cancel their invitation, or decline future attendance.
9. Photos and videos

Participants must not take, share, upload, or post identifiable photos or videos of other guests without appropriate consent.

Plus One may take photos and videos at events for operational, documentation, social media, website, event page, and promotional purposes.

However, Plus One will not intentionally use clearly identifiable images or videos of you for marketing, social media, event pages, or promotional materials without your consent.

We may use non-identifiable images, such as venue atmosphere, food, drinks, decorations, blurred images, crowd shots from behind, or images where individuals are not clearly identifiable.

If you do not want to be photographed or filmed, please tell the Plus One team at the event. We will make reasonable efforts to respect your preference.

If you later see an image of yourself that you would like removed, please contact us. We will review the request and make reasonable efforts to remove or adjust the image where practical.
10. Alcohol and personal safety

Alcohol may be served at Plus One events.

You are responsible for drinking responsibly, arranging safe transportation, and managing your own belongings and personal safety.

We may refuse alcohol service, refuse entry, or remove a participant if we or the venue believe the participant is intoxicated, disruptive, unsafe, or unable to participate appropriately.

Plus One is not responsible for lost belongings, personal decisions, private interactions, or incidents caused by a participant’s own conduct, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Post-event interactions

Plus One may help create an environment where people can meet, but participants are responsible for their own choices, communications, meetings, and relationships before, during, and after events.

Plus One is not responsible for private messages, dates, meetings, relationships, disputes, or conduct between participants outside the event.

If you experience or observe behavior that raises a safety concern, you may contact us. We may review the concern and take action at our discretion, including declining future attendance by a participant.
12. Event changes and cancellation

Event details, including date, time, venue, format, capacity, guest list, and program content, may change.

We may postpone, cancel, or modify an event due to venue issues, weather, safety concerns, low capacity, operational reasons, guest mix, legal requirements, or other circumstances.

If an event is cancelled or postponed, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected participants.
13. Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Currently, submitting a request or joining the list does not create a payment obligation unless otherwise stated.

If Plus One introduces paid tickets, paid reservations, or online payments, the price, payment method, cancellation deadline, refund conditions, and any non-refundable fees will be shown before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, Plus One may offer a full refund for cancellations made by the stated cancellation deadline. Cancellations made after the deadline may be non-refundable, depending on venue commitments, event costs, and the rules shown at the time of purchase.

If Plus One cancels a paid event, we will provide the refund or alternative handling described at the time of purchase, unless the cancellation was caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If Plus One begins selling tickets or services online, we may provide additional disclosures required under applicable Japanese consumer transaction laws, including a Specified Commercial Transactions Act disclosure page where required.
14. No guarantee of outcomes

Plus One aims to create a better social environment for meeting people, but we do not guarantee:

• that you will be invited

• that you will be accepted into an event

• that you will meet a specific type of person

• that any participant will be single, unmarried, or available

• that you will match, date, or form a relationship with anyone

• that any participant’s information, intentions, or behavior will be complete, accurate, or appropriate

You are responsible for your own choices, communications, and interactions.
15. Intellectual property

The Plus One name, website design, copy, visuals, event concept, photos, videos, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Global Creations unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use Plus One materials for commercial purposes without our prior permission.
16. Third-party services

Our website and operations may use third-party services for hosting, forms, databases, email, analytics, payments, event management, and communications.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, or services that are not controlled by us.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Suspension, refusal, and removal

We may refuse, suspend, cancel, or restrict access to Plus One events or services if we believe it is necessary for:

• safety

• trust

• guest comfort

• operational integrity

• legal compliance

• venue requirements

• community standards

• prevention of fraud, harassment, solicitation, or misuse

We may do this before, during, or after an event.
18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plus One and Global Creations will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, submission of information, participation in events, or interactions with other participants.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of the website, forms, invitations, events, or related services after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

Any disputes relating to Plus One, Global Creations, these Terms, or our services will be handled in accordance with applicable Japanese law.

Where legally permitted, the Tokyo District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
